6th Review

Hello faithful, not so faithful, and you who are reading my post for the first time.  This Time I will be reviewing sports anime.  If you call from my first anime to the terms and categories of anime I would be reviewing.  I will be reviewing two, the first is one of my favorites of this category called Eye Shield 21 the main charecter of this ainime is called Sena.  Like most anime charecters who later become heroes, he lives a life where he is constantly bullied.  However he has a natural talent for running, due to him constantly outrunning attackers.  He catches the attention of the captain and quaterback of his high schools american football team.  He forcefully has Sena join the football team under the guise of eye shield 21 and also tells him no one is to ever find out his secret identity.  Since his high school football team only originally his literally 3 members including a kicker who doesnt really make an entrance until like mid season.  The team makes up for it by taking other members from other teams and makingn them fill out there numbers.  Sena goes on to become the most famous Running Back in his high schools history and also fulfilling the legend of eye shield 21.  The legend that eyeshield 21 goes to the strongest running back who was invited to play at notre dame.  His torementers eventually join the football team to make up the strongest trio on the defensive line.  Sena's over protective cousin eventually becomes the manager, eventhough she strongly disagrees with Sena being involved with the football team she consents to him becoming the teams secretary she doesnt know he is actually eye shield 21.  Here is list of charecters form the anime:
Sena Kobayakawa-is the protagonist of the Eyeshield 21 series. During his childhood, he was a timid boy who was bullied, and needed to be protected byMamori Anezaki.[ch. 8] Seeing this, Riku Kaitani, a young friend of Sena's, teaches him a running technique he referred to as the "explosive run" for Sena be able to defend himself. However, Sena uses this to become a gofer for others instead of getting rid of bullies.[ch. 128] In his first day at Deimon High School, he is chased by three bullies known as the Ha-Ha Brothers and his speed is discovered by Hiruma, who literally forces him into joining the football team at Deimon
Yoichi Hiruma the captain and the quarterback of the Deimon Devil Bats. Hiruma knew the American football when he was a child, on a military base.[ch. 248] He befriends with Ryokan Kurita and Musashi, and with them he founds the Mao Devil Bats.[ch. 57] After completing high school he intends to join the Shinryuji Naga, but as Kurita fails the entrance exam, he enters Deimon. Along with Kurita and Musashi, he re-establishes his former club, Mao Devil Bats, but renames it, calling the team Deimon Devil Bats.[ch. 171] As Musashi leaves the club and few people has interest in American football, he starts to blackmail students, forcing them to join the club.[ch. 3] Hiruma is greatly feared both by students and administrative members of the school.[ch. 189] Apart of blackmailing people, he also intimidates them with the multiple firearms he carries with him.[ch. 26] He is also a genius in maverick trick plays and mind games that he uses to try to frighten his adversaries.
Ryokan Kurita he largest and strongest linemen and player in the Deimon Devil Bats. Kurita is a kind-hearted individual who tries to do not hurt other people, but while on the field he does not hesitate to use all his strength.[ch. 1142] When playing, Kurita shouts his kiai "Funnuraba!"[Jp 4] when exerting extra effort.[ch. 5] Kurita meets Hiruma and Musashi before entering high school, and with them founded the Mao Devil Bats,[ch. 57] promising that one day they would dispute the Christmas Bowl.[ch. 60] Before completing high school, Kurita wants to join the Shinryuji Naga through a scholarship, but Agon Kongo, who is considered a prodigy, enters his vacancy, and since he could not pass the school's exam he joins Deimon.[ch. 171] At the end of the series, he is shown to be attending Enma University
Taro Raimon the primary wide receiver of the Deimon Devil Bats. He is most known as Monta a nickname given to him by Hiruma, who said that this name alluded to Joe Montana.[ch. 39] He has a habit to go into a pose after a catch while yelling "Catch Max, also adding "Max" to nearly anything he describes while excited or determined.[ch. 28] In many aspects, Monta resembles a monkey, and it is used as a recurring gag throughout the series.[ch. 145] Initially, he wants to become a baseball player, and sees Masaru Honjo, a Shuei the Bears' outfielder, as an idol. However, due to his lack of ability in other areas than reception he is not cast for the main team. Then, Sena invites him to join the Devil Bats, but he refuses the offer.[ch. 23] Monta only enters the team after being scammed by Hiruma, who says the team needed someone to protect Mamori Anezaki from Eyeshield 21.[ch. 24] After he decides he will become a hero through American football.[ch. 28] At the end of the series, he is shown to be attending Enma University.

the second is a basket ball anime called the basketball which kuroko plays
the main charecter is called kuroko he is part of legendary middle school team called the generation of miralcles.  Despite not beiong able to shoot he has an awsome ability to be able to cloak his presence and make unbelievable passes.  Heres a list of charecters here:
Tetsuya Kuroko He is the sixth man and the "phantom" member of the "Generation of Miracles" Teiko Middle School's basketball team). Kuroko is Seirin's secret weapon. Although he was an essential member of his middle school basketball team, unlike his former teammates, Kuroko is unknown. This is largely because he is so small, frail, and easy to miss. Kuroko possesses the skill of misdirection which allows him to steal the ball and shift the trajectories of passes to suit his team without being noticed by the opponents. His near-invisibility makes him highly susceptible to on-court injuries however,[1] and is not effective indefinitely. If he is left in play too long, opponents grow used to his misdirection tactics; as such, he must be placed on the bench at varying points in any match to prevent this.[2] During the second season of the anime series and the eleventh volume of the manga, he developed a new technique, called the "Vanishing Drive". As the name states, he makes a drives towards an opponent player and seemingly vanishes in front of their eyes, appearing again behind them. This technique combined with his misdirection makes him a powerful player. Kuroko considers himself a "Shadow", whose goal is to help his "Light" achieve greatness. He also has a tendency to speak and act completely deadpan, and a running gag involves his teammates, thinking they are alone, talking to themselves only for Kuroko to answer them, apparently having been in the area long before they arrived.
Taiga Kagami A naturally gifted basketball player, Kagami easily makes his way into Seirin's starting line-up as a freshman power forward. When he first returned to Japan, he was disappointed by its relatively low level of basketball skill compared to that in the United States. However, since starting high school, Kagami has been spurred on by his desire to compete with the "Generation of Miracles". While he is a powerful all-around player, Kagami's unique skill lies in his ability to jump to great heights. This skill facilitates not only his most common move, the dunk, but also allows him to defend well against taller players. The drawback to this capability is that his body is still underdeveloped thus he often injures himself. As Kuroko has chosen Kagami as his new "Light", Kagami is also bolstered by Kuroko's techniques.
Junpei Hyūga Captain of the Seirin team, Hyuuga is a clutch shooter, his capabilities escalating immensely when the team is in a pinch.[3] Along with Hyuuga's change in skill comes a change in personality; normally Hyuuga is a collected and calm individual, but when he isn't, he becomes heated and rude. He is the best shooter on the team, regularly making three-point shots throughout the course of a game. Prior to the addition of Kuroko and Kagami, he was one of the centerpieces of the Seirin team's 'run and gun' play style, catching balls scooped by Kiyoshi near the net to shoot as three-pointers.
Shun IzukiActing as the team's on-court tactician, Izuki is always calm and collected.[4] While he has no special physical abilities, he has the "Eagle's Eye", a mental skill that helps him visualize the court from any point of view.[5] He loves puns, a running gag being that he makes them quite frequently much to the chagrin of his teammates.
Shinji Koganei Considered a jack of all trades, master of none, Koganei is a fairly skilled all-rounder.[4] This is driven home when his coach denotes his special skill as 'being able to shoot from any point on the court, with a so-so accuracy rate'; a decidedly normal ability.[6] He serves as the sixth man of Seirin's team, often coming off the bench for the other players, and has the most energetic personality out of all the players on the team. He is, however, quite intelligent, ranking in the top 20% of his class, though he does not excel in any particular subject.
Rinnosuke Mitobe A stalwart player, Mitobe is very quiet and reserved.[4] Although he is never shown speaking (except for in VOMIC), Koganei seems to understand his gestures and expressions perfectly. A hard worker with excellent defensive skills, he is also an accomplished hook shooter.[7] He lives in a small house with a very large family, and is tasked with making and serving breakfast. He was the team's starting center while Kiyoshi was injured.

5th anime/game review

On this time in this blog I will be talking about one of my favorite genre of game/anime.  Its called a dating sim, what a dating sim you take control of or you view multiple possible realities through the eyes of your charecter or the main charecter.  The sims that I will be discussing are both video games and anime.  The first one is Photo Kano.  It is based and centered around a guy who enters high school and his social circle centers around the fact that he gets a used camera from his dad. The first episode is basically an introduction to the main charecter and his possible love interests.  The narrorator refers to this as an intersection of multiple realities.  Here is a list of charecters:
Kazuya is the male protagonist of the story. He has tried and given up on many different kinds of activities including playing guitar and darts, among other things. His current hobby, sparked by the gift of his father's old digital camera, is photography.

Haruka is the protagonist's classmate and object of affection. She is very popular among both boys and girls, has good grades and plays tennis very well. She can handle everything with ease but is not the type to show initiative herself. She is the protagonist's childhood friend; but, because he became conscious of her developing body, her beauty, as well as the gossip regarding the two of them once they reached middle school, he has distanced himself from her, much to her disappointment.

Hikari is is a member of the photo club. She chooses not to take portrait shots, specializing instead in landscape/scenery and astronomy photos. She is not the type to engage in small talk and therefore is mostly seen by herself. She rarely smiles and is prone to sarcastic comments.

Aki is a third-year student with a rather stern personality, earning her the reputation as the "Captious Student Council President". Her grades are outstanding, the best Kouga Academy has ever seen, and was formerly a member of the swim club, specifically as a diver.

Nonoka has below average grades, is extremely athletic and has an upbeat personality that allows her to have a lot of friends of both genders. She is the ace pitcher of the softball club. Love is the last thing on her mind. She has been the protagonist's friend since middle school and has frequently given him nicknames based on his interests at the time; the one she uses most frequently is "Darts'un" from the time the protagonist tried playing darts.

Mai is a classmate of the protagonist's little sister, Kanon. Her personality is on the meek and shy side. She has average grades but is rather athletic. She engaged in gymnastics during middle school but switched to rhythmic gymnastics in high school.

Rina has a very gentle demeanor and is in the same school year as the protagonist. Her grades are quite good even with the careless mistakes that she often makes. She likes cooking and is the lone member of the Cooking Research Society.

Tomoe is a girl with a rather plain personality who easily blends into the background in the protagonist's class. Her grades are about average and she is not very athletic either. She always distances herself from her other classmates and would react timidly should anyone attempt to start a conversation with her. This shyness comes from having moved many times due to her father's work and not having been able to make fast friends as a result.
In the video game version of this game it is only offered as PSP(Playstation Portable) game.
Generally most dating sim game are only offerd on the psp game system.
Each girl has her own version of reality that the main charecter can explore in the game to get the good ending, the main charecter has to choose, the appropriate responses to questions that trigger what this genre refer to as "flags".  What a flag is, is an event that leads to major part of the story that could possitively or negatively affect the story's outcome.
Here a free streaming link to this anime: http://www.gogoanime.com/category/photokano

The next anime/game that I will talk about is called Amagami.  In Amagami it's pretty much the same as Photo kano, however this anime based on a guy who sufferd a traumatic heartbreak around Christmas Eve, which is a huge romantic holiday for couples in Japanese culture.
Heres the plot:
Two years ago, Junichi Tachibana got his heart broken by a girl who stood him up on a date on Christmas Eve. Now a second-year student in high school, Junichi is wary of love because of his past and dislikes celebrating Christmas. However this Christmas, his encounter with one of six girls from his school, Haruka Morishima, Kaoru Tanamachi, Sae Nakata, Ai Nanasaki, Rihoko Sakurai, or Tsukasa Ayatsuji will finally open up his heart to love again.

Heres a list of charecters:
Junichi Tachibana
The lead male protagonist of the story, and class 2A student. He has had a hard time opening up to others since his Christmas Eve date stood him up two years ago. He also fears heights, as he feels uncomfortable when riding elevators. Although his sister thinks of him as unreliable and slightly perverted, in the various character arcs he shows that he is quite responsible when he puts his mind to it. He is a better than average student (particularly in math) but has a tendency to oversleep in the mornings and has to be woken up by his sister Miya.

Haruka Morishima
A very popular girl in her final year, who has many fans at school. She can be described as a fickle and insecure girl with a liking for cute things, especially puppies. Her best friend is Hibiki Tsukahara and she has a younger brother named Satoshi. She is a quarter British from her mother, whose family's surname is Lovely (thus Haruka's middle name). Possibly as a nod to her heritage, she frequently mixes English phrases into her speech.

Kaoru Tanamachi
One of Junichi's childhood friends and class 2A classmate, she is often hangs out with him and his best friend, Masayoshi. She is unpredictable and is liable to punch or otherwise physically assault Junichi unexpectedly. Kaoru does household chores and works part-time at a family restaurant to help support her single mother, who later dates another man. Her feelings for Junichi have been building since middle school.

Sae Nakata
A friend and classmate of Miya's. Having studied at an all-girls school for most of her life, Sae is incredibly shy around men. She has a soft, quiet voice and though generally reserved, she shows a child-like enthusiasm for the Inago Mask superheroes. Her story arc in the anime is unique in that the characters occasionally break the fourth wall. Sae also has a severe fear of dogs.

Ai Nanasaki
A friend and classmate of Miya's. She is a member of their school's swimming team. She has a younger brother named Ikuo and possesses a cool, calm disposition. She is responsible for maintaining the household as both of her parents work.

Rihoko Sakurai
She is Junichi's childhood friend who, despite her large appetite, or because of it, avidly reads the dieting books in the school library. She is a member of the Tea Club.

Tsukasa Ayatsuji
Class 2A's class representative, who excels academically and is a hard worker. While she acts kind and friendly, this is actually a facade that secretly hides the real her, who is manipulative and cunning.

Again the concept of multiple realities is used in this anime to manage the relationships with the different girls he encounters.  Unlike most dating sims this one has an ongoing contination an the videogame to this one is actually offered on PS3 and Playstation Portable.  The Anime has two parts to the series called Amagami SS and Amagami SS Plus

4th Anime review

Hello again this time I will be reviewing an anime called 7 ghosts.  The main charecter is a boy named Teito Klien, Tieto is a boy enrolled in a millitary arts school because of his profficiency in the use of a power called Zaiphon.  Zaiphon is the power or ability to manipulate energy and the relationships of the energy.  Depending on the purpose of the energy will cause different effects.  Earlier on in this anime Teito is taking his graduating exam from the academy.  The exam was to kill a convict however he couldnt bring himself to do it.  H e then escapes the academy and finds refuge in a the church.  It is later revelealed that he is the prince of the fallen raggas kingdom and the reason for his proffiency in his use in zaiphon is because he is the vessel of the eye of mikhail.  At the church he encounters 7 bishops, later on it is revealed that these bishops are actually the 7 ghosts of legend.
Zehel – (Frau; the Ghost who severs bonds)
Fest –  (Castor; the Ghost who binds souls together)
Prophet – (Labrador; the Ghost who prophesies)
Reliquie "The Bequeathing Spirit" (Lance; the Ghost who sees one's past)
Vertrag –(Fea Kreuz; the Ghost who manipulates souls)
Landkarte –(Katsuragi; the Ghost who sent something or himself away to a certain place)
Eher –  (Kal; the Ghost who assigns numbers to every soul in the world and determines their destination after death)
Some editions may translate the Ghosts name wrong. Since all their names come from German, the names have a meaning in this language, and are not just a name. For example, It is common to see the name "Randkalt". "Rand" means "edge", "kalt" means "cold", making the name meaningless. In the other hand, the name "Landkarte" means "map", which corresponds with Landkarte's ability. The same happens with the Ghosts Reliquie (translated Rilect, not a German word) and Eher (Ea, not a German word).
This anime has an underlying tone of yoai in  it that would disturb some viewers however if you look past that you can how good this anime truly is.

3rd Review

Hello my faithful followers I am going to switch it up this time.  Instead of just an anime review I will be doing an anime and a game review.  The games I will be reviewing is one of my personal favorites WoW(world of warcraft), this is a game that has had a strong hold on its players since 2004.  It is a mmorpg, an mmorpg is a massive multiplayer online role playing game.  The allure that draws most of its players is the ability to be whom or whatever they desire to be.  From classic creatures of nightmares such as werewolves and zombies to more dream worthy creatures such as aliens, elves and dwarves.  To enter the game, the player must select a server, referred to in-game as a realm. Each realm acts as an individual copy of the game world, and falls into one of four categories. Available realms types are:
  • Normal – a player versus environment (PvE) realm where the gameplay is more focused on defeating monsters and completing quests, player-versus-player fights must be consensual, and any roleplay is optional.
  • PvP – an environment where, in addition to defeating monsters and completing quests, open player-versus-player combat is the norm, and a player can be attacked by an opposing faction's player at any time.
  • RP – a variant of PvE, where players roleplay in-character.
  • RP-PvP – roleplay-PvP – a variant of PvP, where players are in-character and cross-faction combat is assumed.
Realms are also categorized by language, with in-game support in the language available.[21]
Players can make new characters on all realms within the region, and it is also possible to move already established characters between realms for a fee.[22]

To create a new character, in keeping with the storyline of previous Warcraft games, players must choose between the opposing factions of the Alliance or the Horde. Characters from the opposing factions can perform rudimentary communication (most often just "emotes"), but only members of the same faction can speak, mail, group, and join guilds. The player selects the new character's race, such as orcs or trolls for the Horde, or humans or dwarves for the Alliance.[23] Players must select the class for the character, with choices such as mages, warriors, and priests available.[24] Most classes are limited to particular races.
world of warcraft races:
The alliance:

Humans[edit]

Throughout the Warcraft games, the humans are modeled on medieval Europe. In Warcraft and Warcraft II they were also depicted as the protagonists of the human campaigns and the antagonists of the orc campaigns. The humans fought for the side of Heaven against the Hellish orcs (though this theme was abandoned in the third game).
The humans descended from an ancient nomadic tribe known as the Arathi, who conquered and united the other warring human tribes and founded the empire of Arathor and the great city of Strom, later known as Stromgarde. The Arathi formed an alliance with the high elves of the far north after they aided them in a war against the Amani Empire of trolls. In World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King it is implied that the Arathi themselves are the descendants of mutated vrykul.[2] By the time of the first Warcraft, seven kingdoms had arisen from the former lands of Arathor. The primary human faction in the first two games is the Kingdom of Azeroth (later renamed the Kingdom of Stormwind in World of Warcraft). The remaining kingdoms were introduced in Warcraft II, all centered in the northern part of the Eastern Kingdoms: Lordaeron (founder of the Alliance), Gilneas, Stromgarde (the former Arathi capital), Dalaran (home to the Arathi wizards, who became the Kirin Tor), Kul Tiras, and Alterac.
In World of Warcraft, humans can be played as the following classes:[3] HunterMagePaladinPriest, Rogue, WarlockWarrior, Death Knight, and Monk. The humans of Stormwind are led by Varian Wrynn, who also functions as the High King of the Alliance as a whole.

Draenei

The draenei are the last of the original eredar, who fled their homeworld of Argus to escape the corruption of the rogue titan Sargeras. The exiled eredar took the name draenei, meaning "exiled ones",[4] and traveled through the Twisting Nether aboard the naaru dimensional ship, Oshu'Gun, and landed on a remote world, naming the planet Draenor or "Exile's Refuge". The Burning Legion pursued the draenei to Draenor, having turned the orcs against the draenei, resulting in the destruction of much of the draenei race.[5] Much of these events may be explained in World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor, which is supposed to be during this time. After a great cataclysm saw to the destruction of Draenor, the draenei used a satellite ship of Tempest Keep called the Exodar to abandon the world eventually arriving on Azeroth and crashing to the west of the coastal region of Darkshore on an island named Azuremyst Isle. They joined the Alliance, greatly respecting the Alliance's devout reverence for the Holy Light.
Draenei have skin ranging from purple to pale blue, and both genders are relatively tall compared to humans, have cloven goat-like hooves, tails that resemble those of a lizard, and dark hair. Males often have tentacle-like appendages extending from their chin, and occasionally large, complex structures on their forehead, while females have two horns on their temples extending backwards and thinner versions of the male's appendages hanging from behind the back of the jaw.
The draenei were first mentioned in the Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness manual, and made their first official in-game appearance in Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne. In World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade, draenei were established to be uncorrupted eredar, and the Warcraft III version of draenei were established to be a mutated variety of draenei called the "Lost Ones", which mutated hideously from the original species upon exposure to demon magic. The "Lost Ones" are short, with blue skin, pure white eyes, variously colored, very short hair, and huge, open mouths, resembling zombies, and can only speak in a whisper. A variety intermediate to the draenei proper and the Lost Ones also exists. The "Broken", as they are called, have been twisted to a lesser extent by the same demonic forces that corrupted the Lost Ones. Their appearance lies somewhere between that of the normal draenei and the Lost Ones. They maintain a greater presence of mind than the Lost Ones, making them able to maintain peaceable relations with members of other factions.
Draenei are hard-pressed to defend the crash site of the Exodar in World of Warcraft. Surrounding it are creatures such as Volatile Mutations, which have been altered by the energies emitted by detached, ruptured pieces of the Exodar. Blood elves also prey upon the draenei in the vicinity.
In World of Warcraft, draenei can be played as the following classes:[3] Hunter, Mage, Paladin, Priest, Shaman, Warrior, Death Knight, and Monk. The draenei have been led by the Prophet Velen since they first fled Argus millennia ago.

Dwarves

The dwarves are a short, strong race. The playable clans of dwarves, the Bronzebeard, Dark Iron, and Wildhammer dwarves, reside in the Eastern Kingdoms, in the kingdom of Khaz Modan. Their skin color can be from a dark gray to a human tan.[6] Originally a race of miners, due to a recent discovery that uncovered fragments of their ancient origin, they have changed their focus to archaeology.[7]
Dwarves were introduced as a supporting Alliance race in Warcraft II, and are a playable race in World of Warcraft.
The dwarves featured in the World of Warcraft patch Secrets of Ulduar, in which their origin was further expanded upon. The third Bronzebeard brother, Brann Bronzebeard, led the expedition there to learn the dwarves' history. He told the story of Ulduar's relevance to the origin of many of Azeroth's native races.
Two other dwarven clans exist on Azeroth. The Wildhammer dwarves of Aerie Peak, though not playable in World of Warcraft, are friendly to Alliance characters, and they maintain the Alliance-aligned Wildhammer Stronghold in Outland and Aerie Peak in the Hinterlands. They are largely similar in appearance to their Ironforge cousins, though their focus is on gryphon riding, rather than the grounded pursuits of the Bronzebeard dwarves. The Dark Iron dwarves are a malevolent clan, hostile to both the Alliance and the Horde. These dark grey-skinned dwarves reside primarily in Blackrock Mountain and serve Ragnaros, an Elemental Lord of fire. In recent years, however, some Dark Iron dwarves, under leadership of Moira Thaurissan, have re-allied themselves with the other dwarves and thus the Alliance.
In World of Warcraft, dwarves can be played as the following classes:[3] Hunter, Mage, Paladin, Priest, Rogue, Shaman, Warrior, Warlock, Death Knight, and Monk.
The dwarves are currently led by the Council of Three Hammers, an assembly representing each of the three main dwarven clans: Muradin Bronzebeard representing the Bronzebeards, Falstad Wildhammer representing the Wildhammers and Moira Thaurissan representing the Dark Irons.

Gnomes

The gnomes are a short, intelligent, and inquisitive race with aptitudes in both the arcane and mechanical crafts.[6] The gnomes' previous home was called Gnomeregan. Gnomeregan, a city with amazing and advanced technology, was rendered uninhabitable due to the release of radioactive waste by Mekgineer Mekkatorque at the suggestion of his advisor Thermaplugg to combat the troggs. Because of the release, many gnomes were subjected to high doses of radiation and became "leper gnomes." These crazed, delusional, and violent gnomes attack any non-leper gnome, and non-trogg outsiders.
Gnomes have a notorious rivalry with the goblins since they are another mechanically-minded race.[6]
Gnomes were first introduced in Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness as a supporting Alliance race. Prior to World of Warcraft the gnomes were driven out of their home city by a primitive race known as troggs. Refugees were taken in by the dwarven capital of Ironforge, which the two playable races share in World of Warcraft. It was announced that prior to the release of World of Warcraft: Cataclysm, the gnomes would reclaim their city of Gnomeregan, because the political turmoil in Ironforge made them feel unwelcome.[8] However, only the surface has been reclaimed.

Night elves

Night elves (or kaldorei, meaning "children of the stars" in their native tongue) are one of the oldest humanoid races native to Azeroth. Ten thousand years ago, a schism occurred between the ruling Highborne mages and the rest of the population. The Highborne, led by the malevolent Lord Xavius, tampered with the energies of the arcane, attracting the attention of the rogue titan Sargeras, who sent his demonic armies to Kalimdor to try to wipe out all life on Azeroth. Thanks to the help of the Dragon Aspects which were chosen by the titans to defend and protect the world from any threat, the night elf forces succeeded in preventing the Highborne from allowing the Burning Legion to permanently enter Azeroth, though the planet's continent was shattered in the process. The schism not only destroyed the magical Well of Eternity from which the elves drew their power, but also most of the rest of the continent, resulting in a vast ocean separating the continents of Kalimdor, Eastern Kingdoms and Northrend, and the Maelstrom in the center of the planet.[10]
The remaining night elves in Kalimdor guarded a massive World Tree, Nordrassil, which was planted over a second Well of Eternity created by the exiled night elf traitor Illidan Stormrage. Blessed by the Dragon Aspect Ysera, the tree granted the night elves immortality. For the following ten thousand years, the survivors lived peacefully, until the second invasion of the Burning Legion. The races of Azeroth, both Horde and Alliance, together fought the Legion at the peak of Mount Hyjal, until the elves managed to unleash the primal fury of Nordrassil, killing the demon lord Archimonde and defeating the Burning Legion. Since then, the night elves have lost their immortality, and have planted a new World Tree called Teldrassil to try to recover it.[10]
Night elves are imposing in stature, males being on average 7 feet tall. Male night elves are very muscular, with broad chests and shoulders, indicative of the strength that lies within both their minds and bodies. Female night elves are lithe and curvaceous, yet still muscular and strong. The race's prominent eyebrows, long pointed ears and natural aspects imply a feral grace. Skin tones vary from purples or pinks to blues or a pale whitish-blue, their hair ranges in color from bright white to woodland green to an electric purple, and their eyes are either silver or amber. Amber eyes were considered a sign of great destiny. However in World of Warcraft, all males have amber eyes while all females have silver.[6]
Night elves were introduced as a playable race in Warcraft III and are a playable race in World of Warcraft. Within the main timeframe of the series, the night elves are ruled by the High Priestess of Elune, Tyrande Whisperwind, as they have been for roughly 10,000 years. In World of Warcraft: Cataclysm, Tyrande's husband, Archdruid Malfurion Stormrage, returned from the Emerald Dream, in which he had been trapped for years. He now leads the night elves together with Tyrande.
In World of Warcraft, night elves can be played as the following classes:[3] Druid, Hunter, Mage, Priest, Rogue, Warrior, Death Knight, and Monk.

Worgen

The worgen are a race of creatures that resemble werewolves. First introduced in World of Warcraft, the first worgen were derived from an ancient druidic sect known as the Druids of the Scythe who worshiped the wolf Ancient Goldrinn. The chosen shapeshift form of these druids was the wolf form, but these druids lost themselves to the form's savage nature and descended into feral behavior. To try to control this savage form, Ralaar Fangfire created the Scythe of Elune with the help of a priestess from the temple of the moon to try control the wolf form. But instead of mastering their powers, the Druids of the Pack, as they had named themselves, transformed into worgen. The other druids agreed that they must be locked away and thus put them into eternal slumber deep beneath a tree in the Blackwald in modern day Gilneas.
Worgen were announced as the Alliance's new playable race for the third expansion pack, World of Warcraft: Cataclysm.[12] During the aftermath of the Second War, the human nation of Gilneas sealed itself behind the Greymane Wall to keep Gilneas out of what King Genn Greymane considered to be 'other people's problems'. This prevented the undead Scourge from overwhelming the nation during the Third War. Some years later a civil war broke out in opposition to the isolation of Gilneas. During this time the worgen curse spread through the secluded nation and transformed nearly all of its inhabitants into feral worgen. Years after the initial fall of Gilneas a partial cure is developed and administered to the worgen, allowing them to regain control. However as they begin the process of rebuilding, the Forsaken sent a major fleet to capture Gilneas and use it as a new Horde port. The Cataclysm destroyed the Horde fleet, saving the worgen, but also shattered the Greymane Wall and destroyed much of their land. With little choice left, the worgen formed a new pact with the Alliance.[13]
While the Stormwind humans speak with an American accent, the Gilnean worgen and humans speak with an English Cockney accent.
In World of Warcraft, worgen can be played as the following classes:[3] Druid, Hunter, Mage, Priest, Rogue, Warlock, Warrior, and Death Knight.

The Horde:
Orcs
Orcs serve as the main villains of the first two games, but end up becoming one of the hero factions during Warcraft III. Orcs are generally green-skinned muscular humanoids with large tusk-like fangs protruding from the lower jaw of their mouths. Their hair colour can range anywhere from black, dark brown, to almost white, depending on the age of the orc. The orcs' skin was originally red to brown, but their demonic corruption at the hands of the Burning Legion turned them green. Valuing personal honor and the honor of their clan above all else, they enjoy the rush and excitement of battle, and before their corruption, their culture was shamanistic and channeled their aggression into hunts and contests.
When the Burning Legion discovered that the draenei were hiding on Draenor, they corrupted the orcs, feeding them the blood of the pit lord Mannoroth, before using them to all but wipe out the exiled race.[5] The orcs were then used as the Legion's primary war-machine in an attempt to invade and destroy Azeroth, through a device known as the Dark Portal. There, they were successful in their campaign against the Kingdom of Stormwind, but were eventually driven back through the Dark Portal to Draenor/Outland by the Alliance of Lordaeron, and defeated.[14][15]
Upon their defeat, the orcs that remained on Azeroth were rounded up and put into internment camps. Separation from the Burning Legion eventually caused lethargy in the orcs and their bloodlust faded after a few years. It was at this time that a young orc named Thrall managed to escape his captivity at Durnholde Keep and free many of his captured brethren with the aid of another orc, Grom Hellscream, who up until that time had been able to avoid capture.[16] The newly reformed Horde then fled the Eastern Kingdoms, sailing west. Eventually the orcs were forced to land on an island due to a storm, and there befriended the Darkspear trolls; once the storm passed they left the island with their new allies. When they reached Kalimdor, they went in search of a place they could call home, along the way meeting and befriending the tauren and their chieftain Cairne Bloodhoof, after saving them from the centaurs who constantly attacked them.
The orcs were eventually led into night elf territory and fought several skirmishes against them as they attempted to set up camps. Here, the pit lord Mannoroth returned and tempted Grom Hellscream to once again drink his blood, saying that doing so would return the pride and honor of the orcs. However, once Grom and his clan drank the blood they fell back under the corruption of the Burning Legion and became rampaging war machines, thirsting for battle and blood. Grom then led his clan on a warpath through night elf lands and slaughtered the demi-god Cenarius. However, Grom was eventually freed, and atoned for his deeds by aiding Thrall in defeating Mannoroth, sacrificing himself in the process and finally liberating the orcs from their blood pact.
The liberated orcs set aside their differences with the night elves and humans to help defeat Archimonde at the Battle for Hyjal Summit. The orcs then set out to carve a place for themselves on Azeroth in Kalimdor. They called their new homeland Durotar, after Thrall's father, Durotan. Their capital city was named Orgrimmar, after Orgrim Doomhammer, the former warchief.[17]
Up until the Cataclysm, the orcs and the Horde as a whole were led by Warchief Thrall. However, he was forced to step down as warchief in order to focus his full attention as a shaman to mend the shattered world caused by Deathwing's return. His successor, Garrosh Hellscream, went on to lead the Horde in a much more violent and aggressive manner, preferring to engage in combat with the Alliance opposed to using diplomacy or peaceful negotiations as Thrall was known for. After Garrosh's descent into madness and eventual defeat by the combined forces of both factions, Thrall named Vol'jin the new Warchief of the Horde, marking the first time the Horde had been led by a non-orc.
In World of Warcraft, orcs can be played as the following classes:[3] Hunter, Mage, Rogue, Shaman, Warrior, Warlock, Death Knight, and Monk.
Blood Elves
The blood elves were introduced in Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne after the undead Scourge destroyed the high elf capital of Silvermoon in Quel'Thalas and the source of their power, the Sunwell along with most of the high elf population. The remaining high elves split into two factions — approximately 10% kept their original heritage, but the rest followed Prince Kael'thas Sunstrider (who would eventually go on to betray his people, and in fact all of Azeroth) and began calling themselves sin'dorei (which in their tongue means "children of the blood" - more commonly referred to as blood elves) in homage to their loss. With the leadership of their prince, the blood elves continued to defend their homeland from the Scourge, allying with the naga in the process. Due to their alliance with the naga Lord Garithos, commander of the Alliance forces in Lordaeron and Kael'thas' superior officer, charged Kael'thas and his troops with treason and imprisoned them in Dalaran. Kael'thas and his lieutenants were rescued by Lady Vashj and her naga from their imprisonment in the underground jails of Dalaran (which contained anti-magic enchantments, once used for the Kirin Tor's pets), and then used a re-opened portal to flee to Outland.
In World of Warcraft, the blood elves who remained in Eversong Woods have renounced their allegiance to Kael'thas and are now led by Regent Lord Lor'themar Theron. The Alliance distrusts the blood elves and their lust for a source of magic, so their race has aligned with the Horde for the mutual benefit of reaching Outland. Also, Sylvanas Windrunner, as the former Ranger General of Quel'Thalas, played a significant role in the admittance of the blood elves into the Horde. The capital city of the blood elves is the partially ruined Silvermoon City.
Blood elves have a usually peachy skin tone and green glowing eyes. They also have a gift for magic, with a long and troubled history of magical addiction and arcane practices.[18] The blood elves can be divided into three distinct political factions: the playable Thalassian elves allied with the Horde, the Illidari elves in Outland loyal to Kael'thas, and the Scryers, a group of Kael'thas' elves who rebelled and fled to Shattrath City to seek refuge with the naaru. They are led by Voren'thal the Seer.
In World of Warcraft, blood elves can be played as the following classes:[3] Hunter, Mage, Paladin, Priest, Rogue, Warlock, Warrior, Death Knight, and Monk.
The Forsaken
The Forsaken are a rebel group of undead introduced in Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne. Their founder and leader is Sylvanas Windrunner, a high elven general who was killed and transformed into an undead banshee by Arthas during the undead campaign in Warcraft III. During the undead campaign in Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne, the Lich King's power began to wane because of Illidan Stormrage and his naga and blood elf allies attacking the Frozen Throne in Northrend, and Arthas' control over his section of the Scourge also began to wane. Sylvanas regained her sense of free will from Arthas and took charge of similarly free-willed undead, taking the name Forsaken and conquering Lordaeron.[19]
In World of Warcraft, the Forsaken have joined the Horde, though they are said to care little about their new allies.[19] The Forsaken control the western parts of the former human Kingdom of Lordaeron, namely the Tirisfal Glades and Silverpine Forest. Much of these lands were tainted by the mark of undeath left behind by the plague and the Scourge, so the lands themselves are haunting, dark and deathly in appearance.[6] Their ultimate goal is establishing a place for themselves in a world that hates them, and creating a plague capable of wiping out the undead Scourge; along with anyone who stands in their way.[19] Their new alliance with the races of the Horde is a relation of mutual benefit, since most members of the Alliance view them as evil monstrosities.[6] In Cataclysm, more of the former Scourge join the Forsaken, including the val'kyr, a kind of undead vykrul who possess the ability to raise new, ostensibly free-willed Forsaken, solving the problem of their inability to procreate.
In World of Warcraft, Forsaken can be played as the following classes:[3] Hunter, Mage, Priest, Rogue, Warrior, Warlock, Death Knight, and Monk.
Goblins
ntroduced in Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness, the goblins are diminutive, green-skinned humanoids native to Azeroth. Early in their history, goblins were an unintelligent race used as slave labor by a tribe of trolls on their home island of Kezan. Constant exposure to a rare ore called Kajamite caused them to develop into a hyper-intelligent race that soon overthrew their masters and created a new civilization. However, the supplies of the ore were eventually exhausted and facing a slow loss of their intelligence, the goblins took to trade and exploration in search of new deposits. During the Second War, they aligned with the Horde, providing similar technical services to those offered to the Alliance by the dwarves and gnomes. Following the Horde's defeat, the naturally mercantile race took a neutral stance in world affairs.
In Warcraft III and World of Warcraft, the various goblin business cartels based out of the city of Undermine now supply both factions. Several trade princes, however, have maintained closer ties with the Horde due to clashes with the Alliance.
Goblin engineers are best known for their affinity for explosives, their signature explosives being the Goblin Sapper Charges, a portable explosive which upon detonation deals devastating damage to anyone in its wake. Rocket launchers, various experimental explosives, and dangerous "Dimensional Rippers" make up most their arsenal of flimsy, yet devastating equipment.
Goblins were announced as the Horde's new playable race for the third expansion pack, World of Warcraft: Cataclysm.[12] As part of their initial questing area, a previously dormant volcano on their home island begins to erupt. Fearing for their lives, the Bilgewater Cartel fled the island only to be shipwrecked on the Lost Isles due to the crossfire of Horde and Alliance ships. The old racial ties between orc and goblin came to the front and, after rendering assistance to the remaining Horde forces, the goblins are invited as prospective members of the Horde.
In World of Warcraft, goblins can be played as the following classes:[3] Hunter, Mage, Priest, Rogue, Shaman, Warrior, Warlock, and Death Knight.
Tauren
The tauren (Shu'halo in their native tongue) are one of the oldest races native to Azeroth, a proud and tenacious race with bull-like features and a culture that is very similar to a stylized Native American culture. They are for the most part, druidic, shamanistic, peaceful, and powerful beings. They resemble minotaurs, having horned bull's heads, large hooves in place of feet, three-fingered hands, and a towering body structure.
The largest tauren tribe, known as the Bloodhoof Tribe, reside on the top of a cluster of tall mesas known as Thunder Bluff, in the grasslands of Mulgore. They are led by the High Chieftain Baine Bloodhoof, who replaced his father, Cairne,[6] after his death. Introduced in Warcraft III, the tauren allied themselves with the Horde after the orcs intervened in their war with theCentaurs.[20] Since then, the tauren reside in almost all Horde outposts and are firm members of the Horde, the Horde Expedition and other parts of the Horde.[21] They are a playable race inWorld of Warcraft.
The name 'tauren' may be a reference to the Greek 'Taurus' meaning bull, or to the related mythological creature the Minotaur, which has a similar appearance. It is also an anagram for "Nature".
In World of Warcraft, tauren can be played as the following classes:[3] Druid, Hunter, Paladin, Priest, Shaman, Warrior, Death Knight, and Monk.
Trolls
The trolls of the Warcraft universe are one of the oldest races native to Azeroth. Long before the other modern races evolved they had constructed empires that controlled the majority of Azeroth and had even defeated the armies of C'thun. Their long history and scattered population has resulted in a vast and very diverse race. The four major troll ethnicities include forest, jungle, ice, and desert. They primarily worship animal spirits but voodoo and shamanism are also well-known among their race. The era of troll domination came to an end when the night elves discovered magic and used it to drive back the empires before the Sundering shattered them, resulting in a perpetual decline into darkness.[6][22] Their defeat at elvish hands has spawned an intense racial hatred of all elves.
During the Second War, the forest trolls of Lordaeron allied with the Horde to help combat their ancient enemies, the high elves, who had aligned with the Alliance. This alliance dissipated when Orgrim Doomhammer failed to lend support to Zul'jin's attempts to purge Quel'Thalas. The playable trolls in World of Warcraft, the Darkspear, are jungle trolls who fled the Eastern Kingdoms to a series of jungle islands prior to Warcraft III. They joined the Horde when Thrall and his orc forces rescued the tribe from a sea witch and her murloc followers.[23] With the arrival of the Cataclysm, the trolls launched a successful campaign to defeat Zalazane and retake their old capital in The Echo Isles.[23]
Vol'jin, the leader of the Darkspear trolls, was one of the most vocal opponents to Warchief Garrosh Hellscream, whose increasingly violent attitudes saw him attempt to assassinate the troll leader. After narrowly surviving the attempt on his life, Vol'jin went on to organise a rebellion of the Horde forces against Hellscream, and later coordinate the efforts of both factions to bring down the warchief. In recognition of his efforts in defending the honor of the Horde, Vol'jin was subsequently made its new warchief, bringing the Darkspear trolls into an unprecedented position within the Horde.
In World of Warcraft, trolls can be played as the following classes:[3] Druid, Hunter, Mage, Priest, Rogue, Shaman, Warrior, Warlock, Death Knight, and Monk.
Classes of wow:
Druids
Druids are versatile hybrids. They perform different roles using appropriate shape-shifting forms. They can have high armor and rage like a warrior in Bear Form, stealth and fight in melee like a rogue in Cat Form, or heal and nuke with spells in humanoid form. Through talents, they can enhance one or more of these roles and even gain a new form for healing (Tree Form) or nuking (Moonkin Form). Their talent trees are Balance, for nuking, Feral, for melee damage, Guardian tanking capabilities, and lastly, Restoration, for healing. With roughly equivalent gear, talents appropriate to the role, and in the hands of a skilled player, they can be just as effective as one of the classes dedicated to each role. They also bring certain additional utility, such as battle resurrection with Rebirth, and emergency or additional healing or tanking, should one of the people filling the primary role die, go offline, or otherwise be unable to fully manage with their role. Certain key differences do still exist, giving them both advantages and disadvantages in any given role.
Hunters:
Hunters are the only class that can effectively use ranged weapons (bows, guns, or crossbows) as a primary source of damage. Very adept at kiting, they have plenty of tools to allow them to avoid melee combat, which is not where their strength lies. Hunters may tamemany varieties of beasts to serve as combat pets, which along with an array of scouting, tracking, and survival abilities make them excellent solo characters. The three talent specializations for hunters are MarksmanshipBeast Mastery, and Survival. While all Hunter specializations are considered DPS, they achieve this using slightly different methods: Marksmanship hunters benefit from weapon-based damage bonuses to inflict high burst damage; Beast Mastery hunters have specialized abilities that increase their pet's damage output; Survival hunters have improved traps and shots to keep their enemies at a distance while their DOT's drain HP.
Mages:
Mages are ranged magic damage dealers with very powerful direct and area of effectdamage spells, but in return have weak armor and defense. Mages also feature a variety of utility spells, such as teleportation or the creation of portals to captial cities. The also feature the popular crowd control ability, Polymorph, and can even conjure food and water. Because of their various spells which include burst damage, they are often effective at PvP regardless of their low armor. Their talent specializations include: Fire, which uses manyArea of Effect and Burst damageFrost which offers great survivability and includes a permanent Water Elemental pet that aids in battles, and Arcane, which focuses on dealing high damage to a specific target. Each of their talent trees are sure to provide a unique yet intriguing play style.

Paladin:
Paladins are Holy warriors and are a hybrid class. They can melee DPS, tank, or heal. Paladins also have very strong group support and buff abilities, arguably one of the best buffing and group support classes in the game. They can wear heavy plate armor and carryshields, but are also efficient single target healers, which combine to produce their renowned durability in combat. With talent specialization and equipment selection, Paladins can fill the role of melee DPS, tank, offtank, or healer and excel when called upon to spot-fill all these roles in a group setting. While a Retribution paladin's DPS is slightly less than a pure dps class, they make up for it with their extremely useful utility spells, buffs and auras. Their three talent trees are HolyRetribution, andProtection.
Priest:
Priests are arguably the most versatile healing class in the game. Priests can be powerful in healing a single character or many allies at once. Priests have a variety of utility spells, along with a few tricks, such as Mind Control and the extremely useful Dispel Magic andCure Disease. Priests are also known for their shields as they can be used to prevent damage to both the priest and allies, providing a very efficient yet different healing experience. Furthermore, Priests can also specialize in offensive shadow magic, gaining the ability to assume Shadowform, and at higher levels regenerating mana quickly for their entire party.
Rogue:
Rogues excel at dealing melee damage and incapacitating their foes, particularly low health and low armor targets such as casters. Stealth gives them a tactical advantage and allows them to start a fight on their own terms. Other important abilities include lockpicking and the handling of poisons. Also, a huge power is the rogue's ability to stun and incapacitate for a large period of time. This, paired with the rogue's high damage, gives him a huge edge over his opponent. Rogues do not use mana for their combat abilities. Instead they use energyand generate combo points which are used to execute finishing moves.
Shaman:
Shamans are one of the most versatile classes in the game as they can switch seamlessly from offensive caster to healer to melee DPS as needed, though at later levels they often specialize in one of these roles. Shamans can provide good support to a party, with the ability to step in and fill any role that may be lacking at the moment. Their high burst damage and healing also make them quite good at PvP. They are able to drop stationarytotems on the ground which provide a variety of effects, many of which are useful to the entire raid. They are unique in that they can provide complete wipe recovery by self-resurrecting and then resurrecting the rest of the party.
Warlock:
Warlocks enslave demons and call upon dark magic and curses to dominate and destroy their foes. Like hunters, warlocks employ combat pets, but these are summoned demons rather than tamed beasts. They are primarily ranged magic damage dealers with a focus ondamage over time in addition to nukes and AoE, but lack the extreme burst damagecapabilities of a mage. Demon pets and fear spells give them a variety of tactical options, and they have several utility spells and abilities, including summoning party members and creating healthstones and soulstones.
Warrior:

Warriors are close-combat fighters and usually fill the role of primary tank or offtank, as they are able to both withstand and inflict fierce physical punishment and have the most versatile means of generating threat and keeping aggro off other characters. They can also contribute very strong melee DPS when needed. Warrior abilities use rage, which is generated by dealing and taking damage, but decays over time while not in combat. Warriors are highly dependent on their gear, as their ability to deal and take damage is controlled directly by the quality and effects of their weapons and armor.

The next game I will be reviewing is also an RPG called Skyrim the newest version of Skyrim plays almost exactly like world of warcraft except that it complies with the Skyrim lore and races however players are drawn to Skyrim for one the abilities to make the game more reality like.  What I mean by reality like is that the player can shift focus from playing as an RPG or PVP you can play it as an actual person and one of theses options is allowing the player to build a home, get married and even adopt children.  With this feature I beileve this game will continue to attract even the most novice players. Also it gives players the option to become more than human, and what I mean is depending the factions you choose the quests you choose you can be come a feared and dreaded assassin spoken of only in whispers a crafty thief whom steals from kings a vampire hunter who is on an endless hunt, and also one two supernatural creatures a werewolf by joining the companions or vampire by contracting the disease or by becoming a vampire lord by alligning with harken.
